Dr. Lorna H. Simmerman

                                                                        

Dr. Lorna H. Simmerman is a third generation optometrist. She decided at the age of thirteen to follow in the footsteps of her father and grandfather in helping people to see the world the best that they can. She has been in practice for over eleven years in which the past nine have been working with ophthalmologists.

Dr. Simmerman received her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she was awarded with Clinical Excellence and earned Clinical Honors. Dr. Simmerman was president of the New Jersey Student Society of Optometric Physicians and a member of the Speakers Bureau. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Arcadia University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Science.

 Dr. Simmerman's thorough training and clinical experience has lead to a special interest in geriatrics, ocular disease, pre and post-operative care, dry eye syndrome, and multifocal contact lens fittings along with primary care and contact lenses. She is a patient and caring person who feels that everyone deserves a comprehensive eye exam. She feels that it is important that her patients understand their diagnosis and how she is going to improve their vision.
